What We Believe & Teach
God
We believe, according to the Scriptures, in one God (1 Cor. 8:4-6), omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, immutable, and infinitely holy, existing eternally in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19). These three persons being equal in substance, power, glory, yet only one God (2 Cor. 13:14), the Creator of all things, the giver and sustainer of life, the author and finisher of our faith and salvation (Eph. 1:3-14).
We believe, according to the Scriptures, that God the Father is co-equal with the Son and Spirit (Matt. 28:19,20); that He is the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:14), Israel (Ex. 4:22), and all the believers (Rom. 8:29); that His works include creation (1 Cor. 8:6), scripture (2 Tim. 3:16), salvation (John 1:12), sending the Son (John 3:16), and the spirit (1 Cor. 2:12).
